A month later, air conditioning repair in RBM’s Pai Tiatrist Hall begins
The PWD had issued an order to Escube Air-conditioning Private Limited to ensure the timely completion of the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the screw chiller by the stipulated date of September 22.

MARGAO: A month after the central air conditioning system of the Pai Tiatrist Hall in Ravindra Bhavan of Margao stopped working, the agency in charge of the work has started the repair and installation of the AC screw chiller. The tiatres pointed out that the repair began after the date stipulated for its completion, which was September 22.
Non-functioning AC has hampered the holding of tiatr shows and other performances over the past month. Both performers and audience were inconvenienced, as the hall was uncomfortably hot, despite the use of pedestal fans. The room was even closed for a few days before the tiatr community lobbied for it to reopen.
Agnelo Fernandes, Member Secretary, RBM, said they had urged the agency to speed up the work.
