Introducing a new format, which included a more intimate setting, Milwaukee Tool recently welcomed professionals from various business industries to its first in-person Pipeline event.
Automotive, construction, electrical, plumbing, and heating, cooling, and air conditioning professionals gathered from across North America in Milwaukee. The event featured a tour of the company’s global headquarters in nearby Brookfield, where trades professionals learned about the history of Milwaukee Tools, the evolution to cordless technology and how it works to be innovative.
Guests were then taken to Redline, where they heard presentations from Milwaukee Tool experts who provided additional industry-specific information on how particular tools help professionals in these trades. For example, a color-matching light was featured, along with a tire inflator, buffs, and ratchets. There were also demonstrations comparing Milwaukee Tool products to competitors. Participants were also able to test tools for themselves.
The event also included various social events at local establishments where pros could network with Milwaukee Tool leaders, experts and people working in other trades.
The company has emphasized the evolution of its battery technology as well as its “disruptive innovation” where it introduces new tools to help professionals. More recently, he has focused on growth in the automotive space.
To address the shortage of professionals in the trades, Milwaukee Tool notes that it is investing money in working with trades groups and investing in attraction, training and work to retain the next generation of workers. .
The Pipeline format was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic in a virtual format. It was the first in-person release. Previously, the event was known as New Product Showcase, which was a unique and large-scale event. Pipeline is designed to be more intimate and vertically focused, and will perform several times a year.
