Samsung is launching large-capacity Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air conditioning systems in India on Wednesday that can be installed in just 0.5 square meters of space in apartments, villas, bungalows, high-end homes as well as commercial and retail establishments.
The New Side Discharge VRF System – DVM S Eco— promises a highly efficient, environmentally friendly and quiet air conditioning solution and offers a single specialized outdoor unit for affordable multi-room cooling.
The DVM S Eco unit is measured at a compact size of W940 x H1630 x D460mm with a footprint of less than 0.5 square meters. This makes it very easy and economical to install and use without compromising performance. It also leaves extra spaces that can be used for other purposes.

To provide energy efficiency, current, daily, weekly or even monthly energy consumption can be monitored based on the usage of the outdoor unit. The DVM S Eco series offers ease of installation in which up to 16 indoor units can be configured at a time.
The innovative design of the DVM S Eco features a heavy-duty digital inverter scroll compressor and wave fin, which improves cooling performance. DVM S Eco is available in capacities ranging from 4HP to 14HP. It comes with a dual BLDC compressor that reduces torque variation by 75%, further improving the stability of moving parts as well as a quiet night mode that limits fan speed and compressor frequency to reduce noise.
Key user benefits include peak demand control, easy installation, high lift with long piping, and a digital inverter scroll compressor. Users also have the option of adding a Wi-Fi kit, which can connect up to 16 indoor units, to remotely control their air conditioning system anytime, anywhere, subject to internet connectivity.
