UL Solutions Showcases HVACR Applied Safety Science Advances at Eurovent 2022 Summit

UL Solutions’ HVACR safety science experts will provide information on regulatory requirements, flammable refrigerants, ultraviolet-C, and sanitation for the HVACR industry at the Eurovent Summit.

NORTHBROOK, Ill., October 21, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, announced the latest advances in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) testing and certification that it will discuss at the Eurovent Summit. 2022 which will be held from October 25 to 28, in Antalya, Turkey.

Organized by the Turkish Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers (ISKID) and the Turkish Society of HVAC and Sanitary Engineers (TTMD), the annual Eurovent Seminar, one of the highlights of the Summit, focuses on new technologies and trends in HVACR. At the seminary, Mahmut KaracaProject Engineer at UL Solutions, will present an update on Ultraviolet-C (UV-C) and HVAC Sanitation at the Seminar on October 25.

This year, the Eurovent Innovation HUB, the flagship event of the Summit, will focus on building bridges between innovation and sustainability. To remedy this, Dustin Stewarddirector and global industry leader for appliances, HVAC and components at UL Solutions, will deliver a keynote address on October 26 focusing on flammable refrigerants in HVAC. Steward will illustrate a modeling and simulation program by UL Solutions that allows manufacturers to predict the behavior of flammable refrigerants in circuits.

UL Solutions’ HVACR safety science experts will also provide insight during the Eurovent product group work sessions, including news and information on the latest regulatory requirements. The working session agenda includes modeling and simulation, new and changed certification standards, and Brexit in the context of evaporative cooling equipment and residential air handling units.
